Mentor Coaching

For coaches pursuing or renewing an ACC, PCC, or MCC credential with the ICF.

If you are working toward an ICF credential, you already know mentor coaching is a requirement. What you may not know is how much the quality of your mentor coach matters.

Mentor coaching is not cheerleading. It is not a credential formality to check off a list. Done well, it is a precise and rigorous process that helps you understand, demonstrate, and embody the ICF Core Competencies at the level your credential requires.

I hold the MCC credential, the highest the ICF offers, and I bring that depth and discernment to every mentor coaching engagement.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We work directly with your recordings and your reflections. I listen carefully, identify what is present and what is missing in your coaching, and help you understand specifically what the ICF Core Competencies look like when they are fully alive in a session.

You will leave each session knowing exactly where you stand, what to develop, and how. There is no ambiguity and no vague encouragement. There is honest, precise, supportive feedback from someone who has been doing this work at the highest level for years.

CREDENTIALS FOR THIS WORK

To count toward ICF credentialing, mentor coaching must be provided by a coach with an ICF credential at or above the level you are pursuing. I hold the MCC and am qualified to provide mentor coaching for ACC, PCC, and MCC candidates. I am also a Certified Mentor Coach through Beckett McInroy, with formal training in the specific competencies and ethics of the mentor coaching role.

WHO THIS IS FOR

A coach applying for an ACC, PCC, or MCC initial credential - A credentialed coach preparing for renewal - A coach who wants to deepen their practice regardless of credential status - A coach serious about the quality of their work and willing to look at it honestly

SESSION FORMAT

Individual mentor coaching packages are available. ICF requires a minimum of 10 hours of mentor coaching within a three-year period for credentialing purposes. We can discuss what makes sense for your specific situation and timeline.
